
Jerome Kaufman,
DDS, Prosthodontist
Dr. Kaufman graduated from Columbia University School of Dentistry in 1959.
After completing his internship he served two years in the U.S. Army. A two-year residency and graduate training in prosthetic dentistry at New York University followed military service and in 1965, Dr. Kaufman established his private practice on Long Island.
He went on to become the Director of Prosthodontics at the Nassau County Medical Center serving in that capacity for 20 years. He is also a former Clinical Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Kaufman specializes in implant-supported prosthetics and dentures. He helped design and develop an oral appliance for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.
